WHO WE ARE
Here at Human Welfare International Charitable Trust, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. Established in 1995 as a Sikh charity with a mandate to relieve poverty and sickness in India and elsewhere, to advance Education in India and the UK, and to provide assistance and relief to those suffering from hardship or distress as a result of social, domestic or economic circumstances.
Supporting the Guru Amardass Hospital and Institute of Medical Sciences in Ludhiana, Punjab. Once opened, will be the regions first charitable super-speciality multi-faculty hospita. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits.
PROJECTS SUPPORTED
Human Welfare International Charitable Trust supports some major projects in India such as the BJS Dental College and Sri Guru Amar Dass Hospital. Regular charitable and social welfare activities are organised from time to time, like free Medical/Dental Treatment Camps and De-Addiction Camps for providing comprehensive health care services to the community, at large.
Established in 1998, Baba Jaswant Singh Dental College & Hospital strives to impart quality education - holistic in nature and relevant to our needs, which will produce committed Dental Graduates dedicated to the cause of Complete ORAL HEALTH.
Recognized by Govt. of India, Dental Council of India, New Delhi and Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. Every year 100 students Graduate as committed Dental Doctors after successful completion of Bachelor of Dental, Surgery (BDS) five years course.
It has been conceived with the purpose of providing an ideal environment for greater enhancement of the capabilities of individuals through information, interaction and intensive patients-students-teachers contact, apart from providing excellent dental health care facilities to the masses. The institute is giving opportunity to intelligent and deserving students belonging to poor economic background to make career in this profession.
Currently under construction, the much needed Super-Speciality Hospital at sector 32-A, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana, India with international standard diagnostic, surgical and rehabilitation facilities to be manned by a team of highly qualified and dedicated professionals.
The hospital will provide 500 beds on the 16 acre land.
THE BABA JASWANT SINGH TRUST (Regd.), LUDHIANA, a registered non-Govt. Organization with its head office at Nanaksar Complex, Samrala Bye Pass Chowk, Ludhiana (Punjab), has been established with the overall objective of human welfare irrespective of cast, creed and social/economic status. The improvisation of health care facilities, imparting education & Research has been high on the agenda of the Trust.
However, in tune with the ethos of humanization, the Trust has continuously been nursing the needy and deserving with free medical aid, medicines, clothes, etc., besides running community kitchen for the welfare of all, notwithstanding the solace provided through eternal sermons by His Holiness Baba Jaswant Singh Ji.
